West Lake Hills

 

The city of West Lake Hills was founded and incorporated as a village in 1953. The city developed rapidly in the 1970s and 1980s with many luxury homes in the hills on the south side of the Colorado River.

 

West Lake Hills is unique in many ways. The citizens, along with their elected and appointed officials, are dedicated to preserving the rural environment and maintaining the natural beauty of the area.

 

West Lake Hills is located on 2244 (Bee Caves Rd) on the west side of Lake Austin six miles west of downtown Austin. With a beautiful view, but still close to central Austin, West Lake Hills is a popular and attractive area to live in.
