Parmer Lane
Parmer Lane runs across Austin on the north border of town. It is a great place to live if you want to be close to down town without paying as much as you would on the south side. Close by you have the Walnut Creek Metropolitan park. It is home to a Softball complex with three large fields, complete with lights and bleachers. The park also features basketball and volleyball courts to complete the athlete's dream park. Picnic tables are placed in shady areas throughout the park. There is also a pool and bathhouse open during the summer months.
The Austin International airport is only minutes away and if you want to swim, head down to the Barton Springs Pool. With Lake Travis at only 25 miles away, you can go boating, enjoy excellent fishing, golf and camping, and of course, the ability to enjoy water sports on the lake nearly year round.
