Dripping Springs
Dripping Springs is a scenic town located approximately 25 miles from Austin, with rare beauty of astonishing wildlife, rock bottom creeks and picturesque farmlands. One of the original settlers named the town after a branch of the Edwards Aquifer, a naturally occurring source of water mostly contained underground.
Many exotic animals are raised within Dripping Springs as well as traditional cattle ranching. Agriculture makes up a large part of the Dripping Springs economy and many of its residents work in nearby Austin.
Dripping Springs offers majestic views, abundant wildlife, rolling hills, rock bottom creeks as well as the Founders City Park. Spanning 30 acres, the park offers jogging trails, softball fields, playground, concession stands, a pavilion and an Olympic sized swimming pool.
