Creedmoor
Creedmoor is at the intersection of Farm roads 1327 and 1625, 17 miles southeast of central Austin. The name Creedmoor did not appear until the establishment of the community's post office in 1880. Some sources say the town was originally called Willow Springs; others say it was first called Creekmoor but was renamed Creedmoor by settlers who wanted the name to express their faith.
Since it is so close to I-35, it is a great place to live if you have to commute either to Austin, San Marcos or even San Antonio. Located close to most necessary amenities such as the airport, hospitals, grocery stores and restaurants; this community is a fantastic place for retiring couples who want a relaxing lifestyle or growing families.
